Back to the world!
By the time we reached Saigon for catching our flight home, we were well and truly tired. Unfortunately, it was a looong way home. I think we figured 45 hours in total. We stayed at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel in Saigon, where we had a front row seat to the craziness that is traffic in Saigon. Surprisingly, we never saw an accident; somehow all these vehicles manage to avoid each other. The Renaissance Riverside is very nice While we waited out the time before we went to the airport, we had a front row seat to the traffic. The flights were OK, as we had the business class again on Qatar Air, but the 8 hour layover in Doha was brutal. Arrival at JFK was smooth, and no problem getting to our Delta flight. We were happy campers when we finally arrived in Detroit, and Angie and Niccolo picked us up. Qatar Air; very nice RG resorted to sleeping on the floor You see all kinds of apparel in Doha
